Hi everyone! I am a third-year animal science and psychology double major specializing in companion and captive animals. I hope to one day work with exotic animals around the world, whether it be as a vet or studying their behaviors. Some things I like to do in my free time are listening to music, getting boba with friends, baking, and going on hikes.

I am a 2nd year Wildlife, Fish, Conservation and Biology major on the pre vet track!  I like the wilder things in life!  I’m trying to work as a wildlife vet and dabble in some conservation work.  Some things I love to do in my free time are hiking, working out and getting lost in the bottomless rabbit whole that is cow hoof trimming videos.

Amy Salim - Director of Public Relations
I am a third-year pre-veterinary student majoring in Animal Science. Some things I love outside of the veterinary medicine field are reading books and baking cakes. I decided to join ASSMP because I came into the Animal Science program at UC Davis clueless. Becoming the Director of Public Relations for ASSMP has helped me gain the confidence I need to engage with other Animal Science students.

Annie Daniels - Director of Operations
I’m a 4th year Animal Science major with a specialization in behavior. Long-term I’m hoping to go into applied behavior research on urban wildlife in developing countries to help reduce human-wildlife conflict and educate underserved communities on the importance of conservation. A few of my favorite hobbies are sewing, gardening and cooking, although my favorite thing to do when I actually have free time is just sit on my balcony with my dog Pinto and cat Kiwi.

I am a 2nd year pre-vet student majoring in Animal Science and I'm interested in working with either companion animals or exotics and wildlife in the future. Some of my favorite activities are playing soccer, volleyball, basketball, or football. I also love to play the ukulele in my free time and I enjoy going on hikes and long road trips. I have a dog and cat named Mocha and Horchata :)
